Wednesday evening Tiffany and Scott welcomed baby Addison. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 11 oz. and was 19.3 in. long. Congratulations Tiffany and Scott!!

Another Saturday, another festival!! Several of us all went to the 2nd annual Octoberfest in downtown McKinney on Saturday. Great brats, beer and polka music!

Tyce and Craig hit all the festivals this weekend.  On Friday evening, they headed to Balloon Fest to watch the Hot Air Balloons.  On Saturday morning, they went to Grapefest with Tiffany, Scott, Montez, Terry, Lisa, and Alyson.

Ok, so it’s only mid September and Tyce has already picked out Halloween costume #2. Cat in the Hat.

Hudson had his 9 month appt. last week. He weighed in at 20 lbs. 6 oz. Also, I made the mistake of planning ahead and asking Tyce to look at some costumes online to see what he wanted to be for Halloween. We found a UPS delivery man outfit and that’s what he decided he wanted. He was so excited about it, that he couldn’t wait, and I had to go buy it yesterday. The store hadn’t even put them out yet, but found it in the back. He has been wearing it ever since. He told us that he looked so handsome! We barely got it off for a bath last night, and immediately after he woke up this morning, he put it on. Hopefully, he will still be this excited 2 months from now on Halloween!!

Craig’s Aunt Debbie from Ohio and cousin Kimberly from Chicago flew in this weekend to visit the boys. Debbie hadn’t seen Tyce since he was 15 months old, so was she is for some big changes with him. Saturday was Debbie’s birthday, and Tyce greeted her at the door with a cake with 55 candles. We played, swam and hung out from Saturday to Tuesday. Boy, were we tired. Tyce really enjoyed Debbie and Kimberly (aka Lisa)! Tyce decided to call Kimberly, Lisa.  We don’t really know why, but it was pretty funny.We really enjoyed yalls visit!!

Hudson has had several big milestones in the last week. He started crawling and pulling up around the same time. He really prefers to stand holding onto your hands, I don’t think he likes the wood floors when he crawls. The other is that his first two bottom teeth came in last Sunday together. They were not fun waiting on them to come out and they made him miserable. Something now to look forward to, more teeth!! I can’t believe in 2 weeks he will already be 9 months old.

Well we just got back from taking our first family vacation, minus Hudson, to Destin, Florida. This was the first time Tyce had also flown on an airplane. All went great on the flight. Tyce enjoyed the beach, but did not like the salt water! We swam, made sandcastles, ate lots of great seafood and went on a kids fishing/dolphin boat, that ended up making Tyce seasick(we should have know better!) There is an air force base nearby, so Tyce’s favorite from the trip was watching the helicopters fly over the beach! I am posting pictures from the vacation under the pictures tab. Enjoy!

4th of July was fun but hot!!! We started out the morning by Tyce and our neighbor friend Cooper driving Tyce’s Jeep in the neighborhood parade. They had a great time. Afterwards, we spent the rest of the day soaking in Tiffany and Scott’s pool!! I have also added pictures from June to the photos!! Enjoy!!
