Finger Food Feast

Here are a few pics from Tyce’s Thanksgiving Finger Food Feast at school.

Pumpkin Patch

We were a little behind on going to the pumpkin patch this year and it just so happened that our neighbor, Owen, was turning 2 in November also and was having his party at the pumpkin patch!! Here’s a few pics from the patch!Enjoy

Tyce’s Birthday Party

Last weekend we celebrated Tyce’s 5th birthday by having a soccer party! It was great. We had soccer tots do the party and they had all the kids doing different soccer drills and they all loved it. Even the smaller ones had their own area to play. Happy 5th birthday Tyce!

Hudson’s Birthday Party

We had Hudson’s party earlier than his actual birthday this year. We decided to have a few friends and family do Build A Bear to celebrate! It was great! The kids loved making their bears, etc. and afterwards we had cupcakes and ice cream!

Halloween

We had a great time trick or treating this year. Matt and Julie brought their kids over and we walked the neighborhood with two of our neighbors and their boys! Tyce has gotten really good at trick or treating. I have never seen him run so fast! I guess we just need to hold candy out in front of him when playing sports and maybe he would be more motivated! The second picture is to show how far ahead Tyce is of everyone else.  You can’t even see him unless you click on the picture!

DC

Craig and I just celebrated our 10 yr. anniversary by going to Washington DC to visit Kevin last weekend. It was great! The weather was really nice and cool. It was the perfect time of year to go.It was a short trip, but we squeezed in as much as we could see each day. The leaves were changing colors and since we were doing a lot of walking, it was nice not to be sweating!! Craig booked us on a Segway tour, which I was a little unsure of at first, but in the end, loved it! I would recommend doing one!

Oktoberfest

Saturday we headed up to McKinney Oktoberfest! It was still sprinkling a little when we got there so it was not crowded at all.  We enjoyed a day of beer drinking, brat eating and polka music.  Tyce enjoyed the petting zoo, especially the baby pig!

Balloonfest

Last weekend, we headed on over to the Plano balloonfest.  We saw several take off and got to walk inside an actual balloon that they on its side with a fan keeping it inflated.  The boys both really enjoyed it even though it was horribly hot!

1st Day of Preschool

Tyce started 4 day a week Preschool last Thursday. He loves his class and teachers. Hudson was really upset that we were leaving him at school. He has enjoyed playing with Tyce all summer.

Is it Halloween yet?

Tyce has already decided he wants to be Scooby Doo for Halloween, so when we went out to eat lunch after church and the costume store next door was open, he wanted to buy it right then! He came home and put it on so he could walk Fidella when she was in town! For our own sanity, we also decided to buy this blow up cat for our yard this year.  One of the other houses in our neighborhood had it last year and we spent many an evening walking over to say “hi” to the cat!
