The Haveman Family

Last weekend, we headed on over to the Plano balloonfest.  We saw several take off and got to walk inside an actual balloon that they on its side with a fan keeping it inflated.  The boys both really enjoyed it even though it was horribly hot!

Tyce started 4 day a week Preschool last Thursday. He loves his class and teachers. Hudson was really upset that we were leaving him at school. He has enjoyed playing with Tyce all summer.

Tyce has already decided he wants to be Scooby Doo for Halloween, so when we went out to eat lunch after church and the costume store next door was open, he wanted to buy it right then! He came home and put it on so he could walk Fidella when she was in town! For our own sanity, we also decided to buy this blow up cat for our yard this year.  One of the other houses in our neighborhood had it last year and we spent many an evening walking over to say “hi” to the cat!

We had a great 4th of July weekend! The weekend before we had our neighborhood parade and cookout! The day before the 4th, Griffin had his birthday party and afterwards they did fireworks at their house.  Tyce loved the fireworks.  On Sunday, we met my family at the pool for hot dogs and home made ice cream! Yum!

In June, we decided to take a family vacation to San Antonio to see Oma, Opa, Uncle Kevin and Fidella (the dog).  This year we decided to go to the zoo and the riverwalk.  The boys really had a great time.  We did a little swimming to show off Tyce’s swimming skills and got to visit with Grandad and Dee.  It was sure hot, but we had a great time.  The pictures have been posted in the June photos. 

Well the site has been de-hacked.  I’ve got to add the links back in and we’ve got to reload a bunch of pictures on our new photo host PicasaWeb. Other than that, we’re ready to rock-n-roll.

We had a great Easter weekend. Oma and Opa came to town and got to see Tyce play soccer. On Easter Sunday we went to church and then had brunch with everyone at Pop and Monty’s house. The kids hunted eggs, hit the pinata, broke confetti eggs and blew bubbles! I have added some more pictures to the March pics. Pictures from Easter, soccer games and the neighborhood spring fling.

Tyce had his first ever soccer game on Saturday. His team is the “Bee Team”. Several of his friends from school are on the team. Tyce did great. It’s hard to imagine that he’s already old enough to be playing sports! 

We lucked out this year and had a great snowfall this year. Tyce really enjoyed just playing and laying in it! I’ve posted pictures from January and February.Enjoy!

Tyce got a new bike for his 4th birthday, but wouldn’t try to ride it. We have all tried on numerous occasions to see if he would, but no luck. Finally somehow my mom and I got him to take it out for a ride on Wednesday. He was really proud of himself and wanted to show Craig how good he did when he got home! I’ve also added pictures from November and December.
